Dae is a queer and trans Sound Healer and Energy Worker based on Spokane and Kalispel land also known as the Inland Northwest US. Dae uses he/him pronouns and specializes in Sound Healing Support for LGBTQIA+ people. All of his life he has been sensitive to sound and music, and at times he gets messages or sees visualizations in his mind’s eye when listening. Once he heard the sound of a quartz crystal bowl he was 100% sure that this was meant for him, the wah-wah-wah of tone resonating through the material mystified and delighted him. Playing the crystal bowls is his favorite instrument, and when you hear the tones imbued with sincere intention you will know exactly what he means. As a Sound Healer, Dae provides sound healing experiences and energy healing services by tapping into the universal source energy consciousness, crystal consciousness and the ancient ancestors. Dae inspires spiritual empowerment through calm communication and ritual, wherein he implements intentional ceremony to commemorate powerful moments. In joining the Sound Healing community Dae saw very few queer and trans teachers and leaders and instead saw many white people appropriating spiritual customs and practices that are not of their lineage. He wants to bring a more nuanced approach to healing spaces while calling in folks who feel left out and unwelcome in the average white-washed sound healing space. Dae is Certified in Reiki Level III, is a Certified Sound Healer Level III accredited by the CMA (Complimentary Medicine Association), is a Certified Crystal Practitioner, and has had extensive study and practice in Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka in the tradition of Sayagyi U Ba Khin. Dae has received training in the use of sound healing instruments including Quartz Crystal Sound Bowls, Tuning Forks, Trance Drumming, Vocal Toning as well as several other healing modalities.
