My name is Katie Frey an my artistic passion is acrylic painting and mixed media. I focus on pushing the boundaries of color while creating expressive lines and rich texture. My art ranges from loose and spontaneous brush and palette knife work to deeply layered and highly textured mixed media pieces. I move between realistic and abstract, sometimes working into collage and often include found objects and texture mediums to emphasize depth and create layers of interest.
My art is always on display at Pottery Place Plus located downtown in the Liberty Building next to Auntie’s Book Store.
