HOW TO GET YOUR $50

Download The Local Frequency app and set up your free account with just an email address.
Select "Live Local INW" as your region during registration.
Tap the green "load" button on the home screen and load $100 or more into the app.

HOW TO SHOP LOCAL ONLINE STORES WITH THE APP

Find a participating Live Local INW business here, or tap "businesses" in the app.
Visit their online store and add something amazing to your cart
Select "Local Dollars" as your payment type.
Make note of your total amount owed (including tax) and your order number.
Open the profile of the store you're purchasing from on The Local Frequency app.
Click "pay for online order" and enter your order number and total.
Tap "send" and the business will be notified that you've paid for your order!

Just a reminder, as this is a new program, businesses are still signing up to participate in the Local Frequency App Pilot Program. This means that while the list may be small now, it will continue to grow every day, as more and more businesses sign up. And if your favorite local store isn't on there, you can always recommend they join the program. Tell them to visit the Local Dollars page to sign up.

Click "pay for online order" and enter your total.

Find a participating Live Local INW business here, or tap "businesses" in the app.
Visit their store and find amazing items.
Open the Local Frequency app and show your QR code to be scanned.
Enjoy your purchase!

How does my business join the program?

If you own a local business and are interested in joining the pilot program, check out the Local Frequency/Local Dollars information page to see if you qualify.

I don't see my favorite local business available. What do I do?

Every day new businesses are joining the pilot program, so every day the list will continue to grow. The good news is that even if you don't see your favorite place listed yet, the local dollars never expire. And perhaps you'll find a new favorite while you wait.
